Introducing: Paint and Sip Watercolor Classes!
I am so excited to be partnering with local artist, Erika Donaghy for watercolor classes at Wild and Free! These classes are for the grown-ups...get creative while your kiddos play!
Erika is a community- taught artist, living and working in Summit County. She is a watercolor artist, muralist, and potter. She loves teaching watercolor workshops because discovering your creative side can bring so much joy to our everyday lives. And, painting really makes you stop and look at the world around you with a little more wonder and attention to the beautiful details in even the most mundane of things.
Here are all the details:
Dates: May 19th, June 16th, July 21st, and August 11th
Time: 4p - 6p
Cost: $45/class ($40 for Wild and Free Members)
Class Size: 12 adults - register early to ensure you get a space in class!
This includes admission for 1 adult and 1 child, 1 adult beverage, and instruction/supplies. Additional children are welcome and will be charged normal admission rates (punch passes may also be used).
Childcare is not provided by Wild and Free, please be sure that your kiddo is comfortable with independent play. They are of course welcome to check in with you to see what you are up to! Wild and Free will have a mini water-color table set up so that kids can make their own creations!

The goal of this workshop is to give you a foundation in how to use watercolor so you feel confident enough to continue to create on your own. Erika will start the class with a short introduction to the different types of watercolor supplies available. She will then teach several basic watercolor techniques that she uses everyday in her own watercolor paintings. All supplies for the class will be provided and you will leave with a little mountain landscape of your own.
